In den ersten 20 km entwickelte sich ein nerv\u00f6ses Rennen mit vielen Attacken. Nick versuchte auch selbst in eine Ausreissergruppe zu kommen, die aber nicht wegkam. Danach kehrte mehr Ruhe ins Feld ein und Nick konnte sich trotz zweier gr\u00f6\u00dferer St\u00fcrze in unmittelbarer N\u00e4he im Peloton behaupten. Im Finale war er etwas eingebaut, konnte sich aber in einer Zeit von 2:06h als 7ter in seiner AK und 56ter Gesamt f\u00fcr die UCI Gran Fondo WM qualifizieren. Da diese in Glasgow in seiner alten Heimat Schottland ausgetragen wird, freut sich Nick umso mehr, dabei sein zu k\u00f6nnen.
