Er nahm die lange Strecke \u00fcber 78km und ca. 1.500 hm in Angriff, die sich mit wenig Trails und sehr schnell pr\u00e4sentierte. Bei fast perfektem Rennwetter startete er relativ weit hinten in der Startformation, und ben\u00f6tigte 2:51:20h. Er belegte damit Rang 52 von 92 Klassierten sowie in der HKL M Platz 25 von 42 Finishern.<br \/>\n<em>\u201eLeider war es schwer, eine schnelle Gruppe zu erwischen. Bei einer schnellen Strecke wie dieser (immerhin 26 km\/h im Schnitt) macht das auch beim MTB-Rennen etwas aus.
